10 Horror Movies That Unbelievably Cut What We Wanted To See

9. The Predator Vs. King Willie - Predator 2

Predator 2 may be a relatively uneven sequel, but you can't fault its ambition in shifting the setting from the original's South American jungle to the concrete jungle of Los Angeles.

One of the most hype moments in the entire film occurs when King Willie (Calvin Lockhart), the badass head of the Jamaica Voodoo Posse, faces off against the Predator in an alleyway.

As the cloaked Predator approaches Willie, he draws a large sword and prepares for what's set to be an epic battle.

However, director Stephen Hopkins instead immediately cuts to a shot of Willie's decapitated head being carried away by the Predator, who takes his bare skull as a trophy.

The fact that the Predator kept Willie's skull implies that he was a worthy warrior and didn't go down easily, which makes it all the more frustrating that we never got to see him thrown down with the extraterrestrial creature.

The third mainline film, Predators, did however seek to remedy this misstep by having Yakuza enforcer Kenzo (Louis Ozawa Changchien) battle the Predator with a samurai sword, in what turned out to be one of the film's sharpest action scenes.
