10 Horror Movies You Didn't Realise Stupidly Broke Their Own Rules

The Rule

Sharks don't hold grudges, swim backwards, or roar like lions.

The Breaker

Though each Jaws sequel was worse than the one before it, the first three at least kept themselves faintly tethered to reality, while the execrable Jaws IV: The Revenge tried to convince audiences that, indeed, sharks can hold grudges among other things.

"Bruce" is inexplicably back to terrorise the Brody family on a roaring rampage of revenge, seeming possessing an intimate, sustained knowledge of who the Brodys are and attempting to dispatch them with the efficiency of a suited-and-booted serial killer.

It also knows where they are at all times, and can both swim backwards and roar like a lion despite being, well, a shark. None of it makes any sense whatsoever, effectively taking the franchise's implicit "no paranormal activity" rule and devouring it whole.
