Just thinking of Megan Is Missing's big reveal is more than enough to instantly turn your stomach.

As you get to grips with the grim, disturbing reality of this 2011 picture's narrative, it goes and throws and even grimmer and more disturbing reveal your way. And let's face it, the numerous reveals of Megan Is Missing are things that nobody was ready to see.

To get to the crux of the matter, the titular 14-year-old Megan of Megan Is Missing goes, well, missing. Played by Rachel Quinn, Megan disappears after agreeing to meet a mysterious 17-year-old skater named Josh who she met online. With her best friend Amy (Amber Perkins) desperate to find Megan, the truth of the matter becomes more and more uncomfortable as and when it's revealed.

Having been threatened by Josh, Amy unearths security footage showing her bestie being abducted and then we see online images of Megan being tortured. But in her quest to deal with the disappearance of Megan, Amy herself soon finds herself suffering a similar fate.

With Megan Is Missing being framed as a found-footage film, the audience is then jumped to a scene of Amy chained to a wall, wearing only her underwear, as she is forced to beg for a meal of dog food and is then raped.

Unfortunately for audiences, Megan Is Missing was still not finished, and Amy would then be told that she would be set free if she gets into a barrel. In that barrel, though, we see the shocking image of Megan's decaying corpse.

Forced into this barrel, Amy and the dead body of her best friend are then buried and left to rot together.
