10 Huge Actors With NO Fresh Movies On Rotten Tomatoes

3. Shawn Wayans

Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Shawn Wayans - part of the Wayans family dynasty - starred in a number of prominent and mostly commercially successful comedy films, including Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood, the first two Scary Movies, White Chicks, Little Man, and Dance Flick.

And yet, that mainstream popularity isn't remotely reflected by critical reception, with every single one of his films to date receiving nothing above wildly mixed reviews.

His closest call to date is Scary Movie, which sits at a not-bad 52%, though the majority of his starring comedies couldn't even crack 20%.

Unlike his brother Marlon, who has occasionally appeared in acclaimed dramatic fare such as Requiem for a Dream and On the Rocks, Shawn has stuck exclusively to broad - and predictably divisive - comedy vehicles.

Given that Wayans stepped back from screen acting in 2009 - after the release of Dance Flick - to focus on live comedy performances, there's little prospect of him ever adding some red to his Tomatometer page.
