10 Iconic Comic Book Storylines That Are Currently Impossible

When it comes to making comic book movies, the various studios responsible for them have a near endless back catalogue of potential comic book story arcs to pluck their ideas from. We've already seen ideas like Extremis, Days of Future Past and various origin stories turned in to movies and next year's Age of Ultron is at least lending its name from a comic book arc. There is also clear evidence of an adaptation of the Infinity Gauntlet arc being adapted in to a movie, as Thanos attempts to gather the Infinity Stones in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That said, there are also a number of great story arcs from throughout comic book history that simply can't be adapted on to the big screen for various - at least not for the time being anyway.
