10 Iconic Horror Movie Characters Done Dirty

Sure, murderous fisherman Ben Willis isn't exactly up there with Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, the Universal Monsters, et al when it comes to iconic horror villains, but the Last Summer rogue is a solid bad guy who's delivered some impressive kills over the years.

While the bulk of those kills were reserved for the great I Know What You Did Last Summer and the fun, mildly daft I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, six of them came in the awful I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer.

That threequel is one of the worst horror movies you're ever likely to see, hindered by numerous creative changes as it lay in development hell for years, with the tale not featuring any of the prior two films characters bar Ben Willis. Making things all the worse, Willis this time out is made into a near-supernatural presence who basically ends the film as a full-on ghost.

The only mild positive to come from the awful depiction of Ben Willis in I'll Always Know, is that he was at least played by horror fave Don Shanks - best known for taking on the Michael role in Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers.
