4. Wreck-It Ralph
Walt Disney StudiosThe 2012 films eponymous character goes through several phases of being an incompetent villain and an unlikely hero throughout the film. Wreck-It Ralph is programmed to be the villain of the arcade game Fix-It Felix, Jr which sees the hulking brute smash his way through an apartment block, much to the dismay of the residents inside. However, we quickly realise that Ralph is a truly inept bad-guy. At a support group for video gamings villains, Ralph tells the congregation that he no longer wants to be a villain. It is clear that his heart is not into the business of being the character people love to hate. However, while trying to retrieve a medal which will prove that hes not the monster everyone thinks he is, Ralph verges on becoming the worst villain in Liwak Arcade as he accidentally releases a Cy-Bug from its game which subsequently infects other games. It is only thanks to some heroics from Ralph further proving his ineptitude as a villain that Sugar Rush is saved from becoming a broken game. A true good guy stuck in the body of a villain, Ralph proves that he is both a terrible antagonist and a very worthy protagonist.
