10 Incredible F-Bombs Dropped In PG-13 Movies

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy is one of those films people can quote pretty much anywhere, anytime. Some of the dialogue spoken by Paul Rudd, Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Steve Carell, and others have remained some of the funniest from a comedy in the past few decades.

Dialogue was an important aspect of the movie seeing as it centered around an anchorman for the local television news station in San Diego. Pretty much anything Burgundy said on camera was heard by each and every citizen in the city, which is why his words carried so much weight when he dropped the F-Bomb.

This is one of those raunchy comedies that could have dropped dozens, and nobody would have noticed. Choosing to do so once not only kept the film rated PG-13, it also made the word stick and work perfectly for the scene.

Thanks to his unfortunate habit of reading whatever was on his teleprompter, Ron looked at the camera and jovially exclaimed, "Go f**k yourself, San Diego." It did not go over well with his formerly adoring public, and the line ended his career for a little while. It was a perfect way to transition from one act in the film to another, and it was also incredibly funny.
