10 Incredible Monsters In 10 Not-So Incredible Movies

8. Night Of The Blood Beast (1958)

nightofthebloodbeastuse1 Produced by Roger Corman, Night of the Blood Beast has a monster that briefly appeared in a previous Corman title, Teenage Cave Man (both monster scenes filmed within two weeks of each other), although slightly altered as to not make it too obvious. Worn by Ross Sturlin, the blood beast had a somewhat 'Swamp Thing' look to it, humanoid enough yet sympathetic too. In fact, both creatures were very clever and scientists of sorts. In this case, the blood beast claimed to want to help humanity but before it was given a 'real' chance to, it is killed. By the end, we don't know if the creature was telling the truth or if humanity really did destroy it's chance for salvation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XMXcsbqrig&feature=youtu.be

Nelson has been in love with film ever since he saw Lawrence of Arabia as a child. He has an obscenely large DVD collection that is slowly taking over his home and will argue with you that The Third Man is quite possibly the greatest film ever made.
