10 Incredible Superhero Cross-Overs We Want To See

Spider-Man and The Avengers Did you like €œThe Avengers€? That was a rhetorical question. Of course you liked €œThe Avengers.€ It had six awesome superheroes, four featured in their own movies, joining forces for one epic event. Well, in the comic book world, this happens all the time. But the Avengers are just a team. They have their own comic book, just like the Justice League of America. When it gets really crazy, you get superheroes who never work together suddenly teaming up. It€™s like a pick-up game of basketball. €œI€™ll take Spider-Man and the Punisher for my team.€ Well, that€™s totally possible in comics. It€™s called a €œcrossover.€ It means instant comic book sales. And, with the increasing emergence of superheroes on the silver screen, there€™s really no reason this comic-staple shouldn€™t be carried over to Hollywood. Now, it can get a little too crazy in comic books (i.e. Star Trek and X-Men), but there are some crossovers straight from the pages of comics that could not only work in film but fit relatively seamlessly into the current narratives. Here€™s 10 crossovers we want to see on the big screen.

10. Superman and Batman

Superman and Batman Superman and Batman are DC€™s two most recognizable super heroes, and possibly the two top superheroes period. They€™ve had their own cross-over series, like €œWorld€™s Finest€ and €œSuperman/Batman,€ because of their popularity. Their duo is the classic black knight and white knight partnership. And you have the world€™s most powerful being paired with the world€™s most paranoid being. Sure, they€™re also in the Justice League together, so why not just be content with the upcoming movie? Their partnership is best displayed when they€™re alone. You get those incredibly poetic dialogues on rooftops, and you can better compare the two opposite ends of the spectrum. For now, we€™ll settle for a possible appearance from Batman in €œMan of Steel,€ but eventually a joint movie will have to be made or there will be rioting in the streets.
