10 Incredibly Talented Actors Who Will Never Win An Oscar

8. Liam Neeson

Listen, there's no judgment on Liam Neeson here. He found a way to rebrand himself as an action hero and continue to make a lot of money as he begins to head into his twilight years, and that's fine. His movies are fun and exciting, and his tough as nails persona is a perfect fit for the ex-boxer. But peel back Taken and A Walk Among the Tombstones and The Grey, and you'll find someone who used to be a really good actor. If you go and watch films like Kinsey and Schindler's List, it's hard not to feel like he's just on autopilot now. Can you really blame him, though? He played Oskar Schindler in Schindler's List, and he acted the hell out of that role. But he still didn't get the Academy Award. At that point, he was probably thinking that he was never going to be able to top that so why even bother trying? Still, credit where credit's due: he's got a thriving film career...just not the type that seems likely to be recognized by the Academy anytime soon.
