10 Inevitable Movie Reboots And How To Make Them Not Suck

9. Back to the Future

back_to_the_future_part_2_1989_685x385The Original: Robert Zemeckis' timeless 80s adventure film revolving around the quest of Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) to ensure his own existence by helping his parents fall in love in the 1950s. It spawned one fantastic sequel, and one hilarious gimmick sequel set in the Old West. How To Make It Not Suck: If this reboot is going to work, it needs to be completely different, so as to avoid any derisive comparisons to the original. While it can follow a similar formula with the shell of its narrative, Doc and Marty should have different names and character traits, and it would make sense for the film to take place in the present, with a character venturing to perhaps the 1980s? It should simply take the time travel concept and do something different with it, because attempting to ape the plot of the previous films will just end disastrously. Oh, and they can't cast Justin Bieber in it, as was the rumour several years ago.
