9. The Title Theme Only Uses Half The Musical Instruments - Avengers: Endgame

Avengers: Endgame's snappy pre-titles sequence ends with Captain America (Chris Evans) memorably telling his superhero pals, "Let's go get this son of a bitch," but the seconds-long title card itself also contains a neat reference to the shocking ending of Avengers: Infinity War.

Though the marquee Avengers theme plays out over the title, it's decidedly slower and less-triumphant than the typical rendition, as a result of the jingle only using half of the usual orchestra.

This is obviously a playfully symbolic gesture to underline the effect of Thanos (Josh Brolin) eliminating half of all life in the universe.

And above all else, it certainly gives this rendition a more restrained, even somber sentiment, befitting the totally unfulfilling murder of Thanos that follows literally minutes later.
