10 Insanely Dark Batman Moments That'll Never Make It To Film
1. Thomas Wayne Impales Reverse-Flash
We've already touched on how Golden Age Batman was a bit of a lunatic, and it's easy to see where he gets it from.
During the Flashpoint event, the DC Universe's status quo is shattered and Bruce Wayne ends up being the one who is gunned down in an alley while his distraught parents watch.
This inspires Thomas Wayne to become The Batman in the hope of preventing others from suffering the same fate as his son.
Batman Senior is the most brutal version of the Caped Crusader since Jean-Paul Valley, with more interest in guns and blades than no-kills rules.
This is best illustrated when he stabs the Reverse-Flash in the back, with a massive sword no less.
Will we ever see a Flashpoint adaptation on the big screen? Probably not, but it would be cool.
And will we ever seen any version of Batman mercilessly ram a sword straight through a man's chest in cinema? Not on your life.
