3. Pennywise Changes His Eye Colour For A Very Specific Reason - It Chapter One
Bill SkarsgÄrd's performance as Pennywise in It Chapter One is so captivating that it's easy to take the finer details for granted.
For instance, most viewers likely didn't even notice that the murderous dancing clown sports a different eye colour during the horrific opening scene where he murders poor Georgie (Jackson Robert Scott).
Far away from his signature golden hue, there's a split second where Pennywise can be seen switching his iris colour to a watery blue, and even if you did manage to notice this, unless you're a big fan of Stephen King's source material, you likely had no idea why it happened.
This is pulled straight from King's novel, where Pennywise adopts the eye colour of Georgie's brother Bill (Jaeden Lieberher) and mother in order to lure him in.
And yet, without the benefit of the book's narration, it's a disturbing subtlety that's missed incredibly easily.
