7. Daniel Bruhl Might Be Baron Zemo - Civil War
Ever since Inglourious Basterds star Daniel Brühl joined the cast of Captain America: Civil War, there have been some fairly rigorous theories about which Marvel character he might be playing. So far, Marvel have resisted any confirmation, preferring instead to invite speculation about Spider-Man playing a key role in the film and concentrating more on the Civil War aspect. But there are multiple threads that need to be resolved in Civil War, and it's clear that the studio still needs a recognisable antagonist (as well as The Winter Soldier and Crossbones' apparent presence). That was led to most rumour-mongers casting Bruhl as Baron Zemo, an assumption that was apparently confirmed by
a casting call, which was clearly enough for IMDB to list Bruhl as Zemo on the Civil War page.
