8. What's The Full Story Regarding Loki's Sceptre?
In the Avengers movie, Thanos gave Loki a powerful sceptre to assist him with his attempt to take over the Earth. It functioned as a basic battle staff and spear, but also had a glowing blue power source that enabled it to fire energy blasts, mind-control people and open portals. At first, it seemed that the power source in question was Tesseract energy with Captain America commenting that it seemed to work very much like a HYDRA weapon which used the same energy to function in his first movie but the mid-credits scene of Captain America: The Winter Soldier seemed to hint that probably isn't the case Baron Wolfgang von Strucker - in his first Marvel Cinematic Universe appearance and having been revealed to have the sceptre in his possession - said what we have is worth more than any of them ever knew. Weve only scratched the surface in reference to the weapon. This would suggest that the blue glowing area of the weapon may be a completely separate Infinity Stone and that the sceptre is probably capable of considerably more than what it displayed power-wise in the Avengers.
