The Abomination commits the same sin as Yellowjacket, in that hes a kind of slightly bigger, slightly flashier, certainly more evil brother of the Hulk and therefore being pretty much defined throughout the 2008 Incredible Hulk by just the fact that hes a really muscly and angry idiot who doesnt like Bruce Banner very much. With such a linear character arc and little in the way of development for the big green bollock, things are rather more tedious than one would hope. Its just that hes got a tiny little pea head. That miniscule cranium undermines any malevolence which the Abomination might have had. Just imagine him trying to find a bicycle helmet that fits him, or getting done up in a morning suit for some important diplomatic function and having his top hat go straight over his head and rest on his shoulders so hes wandering around bumping into potted plants and knocking over old ladies. Once youve started thinking about how small his head is, you inevitably end up wandering down some mental pathways which end up with him becoming an intensely muscular version of Oliver Hardy. That doesnt make for a particularly terrifying supervillain, and nor does the fact that the fairly ropey animation makes him look like hes just leapt from an early PS2 demo of Tekken 3.
