The minions seem to have a variety of roles, from working on Gru's evil projects, to being baby sitters, to standing in as evening entertainment, to being house maids. Next time you're struggling with the hoovering, watch the clip from Despicable Me where Dave the minion dresses up in a saucy maid's outfit and sings along while vacuuming Gru's house. Sure, it might not make your own house work get done any quicker, but it might work as inspiration to make cleaning just that little bit more fun. Dave certainly makes vacuuming look way more exciting than it is. Alternatively, ditch the housework and put your feet up to watch Despicable Me instead, because it'll probably prove way more exciting.
