10 Life Lessons You Should Learn From Minions

9. Sometimes Being Innocent Gets You Into Trouble

So what if they've made a mess? The minions know how to have a good time, whether it's trashing Gru's house with toilet paper in order to occupy the kids, or going wild in a nearby supermarket and drinking too much fizzy pop. Ok, so there are limits - and often the minions don't actual realise because they're so innocent and set on having a good time. While nothing particularly terrible happens to the excitable creatures (well, bar one of them ending up lost in space), as spectators it's probably best if we take inspiration from only half of their enthusiasm and curiosity, because acting 100 percent like a minion will most likely lead to trouble if you're not a character in an animated film - for example, dressing up in Curry's and doing a round of karaoke is probably going to get you arrested.

I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
