5. Jennifer Aniston
Jennifer Aniston is of course best-known for her comedy work, primarily as Rachel on
Friends and then countless romantic comedies since, but wouldn't it be great if she shook things up a little more? Aniston has played only two notable villains to date - the femme fatale in
Derailed, and the crazy nymphomaniac in
Horrible Bosses - but the former role was one only revealed as a twist near the climax, and the latter was played more for laughs than anything. It'd be interesting to see what she could do with something that is unambiguously crazed from minute one; perhaps a psychotic femme fatale in a neo-noir, or a stalker-type character in the vein of Glenn Close in
Fatal Attraction. To see her playing a complete bitch would be refreshing, and I imagine she could turn that seemingly interminable comic energy into something quite frightening, that like many of the above, would demonstrate that she has a lot more to offer if audiences are willing to take a chance on her and buy into it.
