8. Reese Witherspoon: Vicki Vale

Casting Reese Witherspoon would require an entirely different take on Vicki Vale than what was seen with Kim Basinger's version in 1989's Batman but Witherspoon would be an age appropriate love interest for Bat-Fleck. Including Vale in the new DC continuity makes sense, she could act as a mirror character to Amy Adams' Lois Lane, a rival reporter whose methods differ somewhat to her Daily Planet counterpart. Casting Witherspoon would also see a version of Vale almost like an older version of her ruthless junior Republican character Tracy Flick in Election. Another character that would make a good fit for her (potentially in the same franchise) would be Lana Lang. Apart from a brief appearance in the Smallville scenes of Clark's childhood, where she is portrayed by actress Jadin Gould, it seems like Lang is one part of Superman€™s backstory that has been severely reduced thus far. Witherspoon though would be perfect for the grown-up version of the small-town girl Clark left behind.
