2. Son Of Rambow

Son of Rambow is a small scale, intimate film that feels quintessentially English, but with a healthy dose of American pop culture thrown in. It's the story of a prepubescent boy from a strict religious family who is kind of an outcast, until his love of Rambo leads to an unlikely friendship between him and one of the biggest troublemakers at school. With their limited 80s technology, they set out to remake First Blood, starring the scrawniest and most adorable English Rambo ever.
