Another member of the X-Men who has also spent time with the Avengers, Shiro Yoshida has been in pretty much every X-Men adaptation yet, save for live action.
The Japanese American with the ability to absorb solar radiation and turn it into plasma-blasts is a popular character with a wide array of team associations under his belt. However, a stint with the X-Men when they return to the big screen would be perfect for this sorely under-utilised character.
Throughout his 49-year-long history he has been intricately linked with another fan favorite in Gambit, and this could play into any storyline that Disney may come up with for him. The opportunity to partner up Sunfire and everyone's favorite Cajun would be a great way to introduce not one but two of Marvel's more interesting creations in a single move.
With the technology available to bring Yoshida's alter-ego to life, it surely can't be too long before we see him soaring through the skies, raining fire down on evildoers as the X-Men save the world once again.
