1. The Thunderbolts In The Falcon And The Winter Soldier
There's been chatter about the Dark Avengers appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for years now but it seems like the current plan is for a villainous team to assemble in the form of the Thunderbolts. In the comics, they were a group of bad guys who masqueraded as heroes to win the public's trust only to realise that doing the right thing actually suited them rather well!
Since then, there have been a few different iterations of the team, including a Suicide Squad-style group forced to be heroes by the government. We don't know which version is coming to the MCU but Full Circle Cinema claims it will happen in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
There's been no casting news pointing to that being the case but rumours have been swirling that General "Thunderbolt" Ross will assemble the Thunderbolts and that Yelena Belova could be his first recruit in Black Widow's post-credits scene. Baron Zemo has also served as their leader and both U.S. Agent and Bucky could make fitting additions depending on what Marvel Studios has planned.
