At last, fans have the chance to return to the Harry Potter universe through Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, experiencing a brand new story with new characters and magical creatures.

While Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them largely centres on Newt Scamander and his quest to recapture his escaped magical creatures, it also tells a larger story. Who is Grindelwald? What's he planning to do? And what has Newt got to do with all this?

These are the questions that many fans have been left with after Fantastic Beasts, questions that will likely be dealt with in the subsequent four - yes, four! - sequels. And with J. K. Rowling confirmed to be writing, you can rest assured there'll be plenty of reveals about characters and events in the Harry Potter series along the way.

What might Rowling reveal? And what's likely to come next? Here are ten predictions for Fantastic Beasts sequels.

10. Jacob Kowalski Will Get His Memory Back

Obscurial Dumbledore

By far one of the most engaging characters in Fantastic Beasts was Jacob Kowalski, the bumbling No-Maj who Newt bumps into at the bank. In the end, his memory is obliviated , leaving him with no recollection of the events of the film or the friends he makes along the way.

Except that's not entirely true. When he finally opens his bakery, many of his pastries are shaped like Newt's Fantastic Beasts, and the final shot of the film is him looking at his love interest Queenie with a look of potential recognition.

As one of the most well-liked characters in the film, it's obvious that Kowalski will return, and he'll receive his memory of prior events in order to bring him up to speed. What the explanation for this will be is hard to say, but it's likely meeting characters like Newt and Tina again will be enough to jog his memory.

Don't be surprised if a romantic kiss with Queenie is what brings it all flooding back, reverse Superman style.
