10 Major Problems With Zack Snyder’s Justice League
1. Darkseid Forgot Where Earth Is
The worst problem of all in Zack Snyder’s Justice League is the fact that Darkseid forgot where Earth was. When Wonder Woman explains to Batman where the Mother Boxes came from and what they are, she tells him of the time Darkseid first came to Earth and was defeated by those defending it.
In this scene we learn that this was the first time Darkseid was beaten in battle, the time when he lost the Mother Boxes and discovered the only place in all of existence where the Anti-Life Equation was; something he has spent centuries looking for. A conversation between Steppenwolf and Desaad even mentions that the story about Darkseid’s defeat is well known by his followers.
It is already hard enough to believe the insane coincidence that all of these important things happened at the same time and on Earth. But what is more insane is that despite all of these things happening, Darkseid and his forces would forget what planet they took place on.
The fact that this happened to what is supposed to be the DC equivalent of Thanos just makes Darkseid’s first major film appearance a complete embarrassment and a waste of such an incredible comic book villain.
