8. New Details On Disney's Star Wars Land

What with the films, TV shows, and games all to promote, Disney's Star Wars Land wasn't the main attraction at Star Wars Celebration. We did, however, get a few new details on the theme park area, all of which are pretty exciting.

The video above uses a nice mix of Star Wars footage, concept art for the park, and talking heads (including Rian Johnson), and offers some information on just what visitors can expect.

There's a big focus on giving fans the full immersive experience, as if they really are in the Star Wars universe, and is referred to as "the most ambitious project in the history of Walt Disney Imagineering."

Coming to Walt Disney World and Disneyland in 2019, it was revealed during the panel that it'll take place on a world that, while it has existed, audiences have never seen before, and is set during the time of the new trilogy.

The big Millennium Falcon attraction, meanwhile, isn't just something you sit in and ride, but also offers the experience of actually piloting it. Furthermore, guests will be able to join a faction - such as the First Order - upon entering, and actions will have consequences, as you essentially "build a reputation" in the universe.
