10 Marvel Characters Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Could Play In The MCU

In Black Adam, The Rock will be bringing to the DCEU a character big enough and bad enough to go toe to toe with Superman. The actor has been very vocal about his excitement for such a situation, but he could come across to the MCU and play Marvel's own version of the Man of Steel.

With the multiverse now open and set to be explored by the likes of Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, and who knows who else, there has never been a better time to bring Hyperion into the franchise.

There are multiple versions of the character throughout Marvel Comics, each of which hail from a different branch of the multiverse, and whether Marvel Studios go with villainous King Hyperion from Earth 4023, or the Mark Milton from either Earth 31916, or Earth 712, they will need a big presence like The Rock to bring him to life.

The most likely iteration would be one of the heroic leaders of the Squadron Supreme, something of an alternate universe Avengers, though given the direction the MCU is heading, it wouldn't be too surprising to see The Rock bring more than one version of the character to the screen.
