1. Eric O'Grady/Ant-Man
Two of the three Ant-Men have been cast why not go for the home run and cast the third Ant-Man, Eric O'Grady? Eric was a SHIELD grunt who got hold of the Ant-Man tech and used it for his own selfish purposes. His Ant-Man series (written by Robert "Walking Dead" Kirkman) was called The Irredeemable Ant-Man for a reason: the guy was a degenerate slob! One of the first things he does when he discovers his powers is to shrink, jump into a woman's purse, and go home and watch her shower oh, and that woman was Carol Danvers aka Ms Marvel! So why have Eric in this movie? As more audience members have noticed with Marvel's movies, there's a lot of humour in them than in, say, the Warner Bros. movies which is to the good. And with comedy actor Paul Rudd and comedy director Edgar Wright both attached, Ant-Man could be a great superhero comedy movie. Scott Lang and Eric O'Grady the hero and the anti-hero could have a great antagonistic (pun not intended) relationship, plus it'd be fun to see Patrick Wilson playing a slobbish lout abusing his power-set and Paul Rudd playing the straight man for a change. Eric's Ant-Man was part of the Thunderbolts team, which would be great to see as a movie in itself maybe including Eric here puts Marvel in the position to spin off into Thunderbolts territory in Phase 3 or 4? * Those are some ideas for who Patrick Wilson could play in the Ant-Man movie what do think?
