Emil Blonsky is another victim of The Incredible Hulk's lukewarm reception as Tim Roth's villain has also been consigned to the MCU's history books.
The Abomination is one of the few MCU villains capable of hitting heavily enough to match the Hulk blow for blow, but it doesn't sound like he will ever be released from captivity.
Following his apparent arrest at the end of Incredible Hulk, status updates on Blonsky have been few and far between, with a fleeting reference in Agents of SHIELD confirming he's in a cryo-cell in Alaska. This must be a pretty impressive facility if it's capable of holding the Abomination.
Who knows if he's still locked up there, almost a decade on, but if he has escaped, the MCU would know about it. Although it seems like a waste of such a powerful villain, don't expect to see Blonsky smashing s**t up in any future Marvel films.
