10 Marvel & DC Villains Who Deserve Their Own Movie

9. Kang The Conquerer

Kang Kang is a massively underrated character who rarely gets a place on "best villain" lists and the like, but he is very, very interesting and would be a great subject for a titular movie. Kang's involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe would introduce the possibility of time-travel and alternate timelines, which would add entirely unexplored dimensions to the MCU and I think that could be interesting. Complicated, maybe even messy, but interesting. First appearing in 1964, Kang has troubled The Avengers on the pages of Marvel comics in a way that few other villains have managed. He's from an alternate timeline to the main "616€ universe, where he is related to both Reed Richards and Victor Von Doom €“ two characters whom he rivals on an intellectual level, which is something only a handful of beings in fiction can lay claim to doing. Exploring his ancestry, seeing him travelling across time and witnessing the development of his highly advanced technological arsenal would make for a great movie. Boasting an armoured suit to rival or even surpass that of Iron Man, Kang would be an exciting and welcome addition to the big screen Marvel universe and could take the MCU in an infinite number of captivating directions. It would be difficult to find a place for him in the MCU - given his links to characters that Marvel Studios don't have the rights to - but if something could be agreed in the future he could easily carry his own film.
