No other comics property has been so notoriously mistreated like the Fantastic Four, and while the X-Men present the most obvious draw for Marvel and their audiences, their first family are tailor-made for Disney.

Think about it, Disney already have The Incredibles, who are as blatant a Fantastic Four analogue as they can get, and when it comes to unlocking the full potential of Marvel's cosmic properties, the Fantastic Four license is of key importance. Their arrival brings the Silver Surfer, Galactus, the Super Skrull, and more to the table, and with the chance to get them right soon to be in Marvel's grasp, there's no way another reboot isn't being talked about.

Quantitatively speaking, yes, the Fantastic Four can't go toe-to-toe with The Avengers. However, what they lack in numbers they more than make up for in heart, and with a new look, dynamic and scope to play with, they could form the backbone of the MCU for years to come.

Plus, who doesn't want to see Johnny Storm and Spider-Man hanging out together?
