10 Massively Hyped 2017 Movies That Will Definitely Disappoint

So far the DCEU has not delivered a single good movie and yet Marvel continue to deliver mostly good to great movies year after year (awaits cheque from Marvel studios). With comic book films at an unreachable height in terms of popularity, everyone is waiting for DC to give us a great film or at least one that isn't critically butchered.

Just don't expect Wonder Woman to be the film to do it.

Though the trailers look relatively solid there is a lot going against the first big screen outing for the Amazonian Princess. First and foremost is the report from a supposed studio insider that the film is 'a mess' along with the departure of Game of Thrones director Michelle Maclaren over the somewhat cliched reason of 'creative differences', all of which suggests the DC running theme of trouble behind the scenes. Then we have the untested leading lady, untested Blockbuster director and untested box office draw of Wonder Woman herself.

All the pieces may fall together and end up not being terrible, but considering what DC have offered up so far it's difficult to be too optimistic.
