10 Massively Hyped 2017 Movies That Will Definitely Disappoint

So far, Power Rangers looks like a film made by studying focus groups. People like Iron Man, let's make the suits look like that. People also like 'dark' and 'gritty' reinterpretations of fun things from their childhood so let's throw that in there too. People loved Chronicle so we'll throw a dash of that in there for good measure and then blend all of that together

Cliches are plentiful as the outcast teens aggressively cut their hair rebelliously and try to deal with the drama of high school (a sprinkle of Breakfast Club too here) until the film literally becomes a less interesting Chronicle. Seriously, watch the trailer again, it's Chronicle. This cannot be stressed enough.

There doesn't seem to be any originality in the approach to this film which all but guarantees a disappointment.

Though on the other hand the great Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Banks are starring in the film so maybe it'll be fine and Power Rangers will be the greatest film of 2017...
