7. Scott Lang's Prison Interview
This is very much set in continuity, but no one could blame you for completely missing it back in 2015. Released as part of a partnership between Marvel Studios and Google, Iron Man star Leslie Bibb reprised her role as Christine Everheart for a series of WHIH Newsfront referencing key events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It was a neat idea, but not one that really connected with fans. However, this one definitely stands out, mostly because it so cleverly tied into the events of Ant-Man. Set just days before that movie takes place, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) is interviewed by Everheart and attempts to justify why he decided to break into VistaCorp. Pym Tech CEO Darren Cross also appears courtesy of a Wired interview.
While this didn't make for essential viewing as such, it did cleverly shed some light on Scott Lang's motivations, explaining why he did what he did to land in prison. It also nicely set the stage for him becoming Ant-Man, and helped make it clear what a jerk Cross is.
It's a shame these didn't live on, but they're likely a nightmare to co-ordinate for Marvel Studios.
