10 MCU Characters Killed Off Way Too Early
2. Ulysses Klaue
This character is the second of Black Panther's terrific foes who were killed entirely too early. Ulysses Klaue, an arms dealer notorious in Wakanda for stealing some of their precious vibranium, is first seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron, when Ultron himself approaches him about taking the vibranium off his hands. He ends up doing so very literally, cutting off Klaue's left arm in a fit of rage.
Fast-forward to Black Panther, T'Challa locates Klaue in South Korea and apprehends him, relieving him of his new vibranium-powered arm cannon. Killmonger springs him from the CIA, but double-crosses him once they are in the clear, shooting him and using his body to gain entry into Wakanda.
Andy Serkis's vibrant performance as the gleeful psychopath is what makes this character so memorable, and for his part in the film to be over so quickly is nothing short of criminal. With time travel and reality warping steadily creeping into the MCU, it's not impossible for the character to return, but given the finality of his last scene, don't count on it.
Then again, there exists a version of Klaue in the comics made entirely of sound, so, you know...here's hoping.
