10 MCU Leaks That Just Might Be True
4. Potential Casting For Norman Osborn
Marvel fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Norman Osborn in the MCU. Now, whether or not he'll actually show up -- what with the sticky situation between Marvel and Sony -- is another question entirely. Still, that hasn't stopped fans from speculating who could don his righteous waves.
According to "Wardell's" unverified account, Marvel may have two actors in mind. One of them is Bob Odenkirk, of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul fame. When you see Odenkirk, you might not immediately picture him as Osborn. He's an exceptional actor, but is he villainous in the same way that Osborn is? His screen presence doesn't immediately lend itself to him being an intimidating, cutthroat businessman. But hey, why doubt Marvel's casting now?
The other actor is David Morrissey, AKA the Governor from The Walking Dead. This tweet lines up with one from Wardell's verified account, stating that Marvel are huge fans of the actor and are considering multiple roles for him in the future. Morrissey seems more like the intense, menacing type, and has accordingly found himself at the center of many fan casting lists.
That said, "Wardell" warned that Osborn WILL NOT take on his Goblin form for the foreseeable future.
