10 Memorable Punch Scenes In Comic Book Movies

4. Batman Interrogates The Joker (The Dark Knight)

Batman Punches Joker Hand After the Joker had issued a threat that people would die every single day until Batman revealed his identity, he is eventually apprehended and brought in to police custody. The Joker finds himself in a darkened room where he is, initially, questioned by James Gordon, who had helped to catch him. The Joker refuses to give straight answers and so Gordon leaves the room get a "cup of coffee". Of course, it turns out that he has ulterior motives for leaving, as Batman emerges from the shadows behind Joker to dish out a little interrogation of his own. Batman starts by smashing Joker's head in to the desk he is sat at, but Joker's response is merely to criticise his technique, so Batman slams a punch down on to the back of Joker's resting hand. He then proceeds to interrogate him some more, which works (dishing out a few more punches in the process). This is more memorable for the interrogation itself rather than the punching, but the fact that the initial punch by Batman was slammed down on to the Joker's hand stood out quite a lot.
