10 Mind-Blowing Hidden Clues You Never Noticed In Classic Movies

2. A Seatbelt Joke Hints That The Dinosaurs Can Reproduce - Jurassic Park

Jurassic Park Belt ClueJurassic Park is a movie that asks the question: "If dinosaurs actually existed, how much would I pay to go and see them at a theme park?" Well, that, amongst other things. Having travelled to a secure island resort filled with genetically-engineered dinosaurs, Dr. Alan Grant and his nerdy friends suddenly find themselves trying to not be killed by those dinosaurs - when the dinos escape from their enclosures, everyone discovers that they've also been breeding, which was thought to be impossible given that they've all been made female on purpose. It turns out that frog DNA was used to fill in the genetic gaps, and some frogs can change their genders. A neat little plot point, and one that is also hinted at in an incredibly subtle manner during the helicopter trip to the island. Faced with two buckles on his seatbelt (which are referred to as the "female ends") and no clasp, Dr. Grant improvises and ties them together, thus creating the perfect metaphor for what will eventually happen when two female dinosaurs adapt and change genders, brilliantly proving Jeff Goldblum's theory that "life, uh, finds a way."
