10 Minor Horror Movie Characters Everybody Remembers

3. Santanico Pandemonium - From Dusk Till Dawn

From Dusk Till Dawn is crammed with memorably cartoonish characters, most of whom get a fair amount of screen time throughout the movie.

None, however, are likely to be as readily remembered as Santanico Pandemonium (Salma Hayek), the vampiric stripper who makes a brief but eye-opening appearance in the middle of the film.

Santanico performs a sexy dance for the assembled crowd at the Titty Twister strip club, culminating in an hilarious beat where the psychopathic bank robber Richie Gecko (Quentin Tarantino) sucks on her alcohol-soaked foot. Tarantino gonna Tarantino, right?

She then stands still while all violent hell breaks loose in the bar, but upon catching sight of Richie's now-bloody hand, she can't resist but reveal her Vampire Queen form before attacking him.

After she kills Richie, his brother Seth (George Clooney) seeks revenge, killing Santanico by collapsing a chandelier on top of her.

All in all she has barely five minutes of screen time at the film's mid-point, but between Hayek's goddess-level sex appeal and the sheer surprise of her vampiric alter-ego, the character makes every second count.
