9. Everyone Looks In The Wrong Direction When The Plane Crashes - Knowing

Though the Nicolas Cage-starring sci-fi thriller Knowing is a bit of a mixed bag, to be kind, it remains fondly remembered for a single brilliant scene in which Professor Koestler (Cage) is at the epicenter of a devastating plane crash, captured in a single smooth, unbroken take.

Unfortunately the majesty of Alex Proyas' exemplary filmmaking is undermined by an atrocious editing and VFX error mere seconds before the plane falls out of the sky and explodes.

As Koestler arrives at the site, a man looks behind him in terror, signifying that the plane is coming in from the horizon directly behind Koestler.

Except, we then see Koestler turn around, only for the plane to come into shot from the extreme right, which makes no sense at all.

Basically, this is a case of the cast not being directed correctly as to where the CGI plane was actually going to emerge from. As a result, they're looking in the totally wrong place.
