10 MMA Fighters Who Tried Out Acting

8. Don Frye - Godzilla: Final Wars

Don Fyre Godzilla It would be a stretch to say that Don Frye made it in Hollywood - but it's still pretty damn cool to have a role in a Godzilla movie, especially one specifically created with you in mind. Frye turned up in 2004's Godzilla: Final Wars because director Ryuhei Kitamura happened to be a fan of his fights. Which goes to show that when you can brawl and have an awesome mustache, you can pretty much succeed at anything. And to be fair, Frye did appear in some Hollywood fare, turning up in the 2006 version of Miami Vice, 2009's Public Enemies, and doing voice work in The Ant Bully.
