10 Moments Of Ridiculously Smart Foreshadowing In The MCU

1. The Events Of Captain America: The Winter Soldier Are Responsible For The Creation Of Ultron - Agent€™s Of SHIELD

The events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier may have been more catastophic than we currently realise, if Maria Hill€™s conversation with Melinda May late in season one of Agents Of SHIELD is anything to go by. Hill claims that Tony Stark - her new employer falling the fall of SHIELD - has plans to privatise global security. This could simply be his ability to finance the Avengers, but it might mean something that could be far worse - Ultron. If Stark is - as rumoured - the mastermind behind the creation of Ultron, his steps to develop new steps in global security may go too far. Alternative, Ultron could be a response to Tony Stark and his Avenger buddies, built to take out the threat they pose. Either way, it looks as if the episode Nothing Personal may have foreshadowed the creation of the big threat of next year€™s Avengers sequel. So concludes this look at some of the cleverest moments of foreshadowing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. From its beginnings in 2008 to Kevin Feige€™s end goal of 2028, there are some big ideas in play and many of the seeds have been sown, some of which we might not even be aware of until a few years down the line. Do you agree? Do you think we've read too much into these events? Are there more we have missed? Please let us know in the comments below!
