The Marvel Cinematic Universe is an increasingly complex and sprawling web of characters and storylines, and so it's little surprise that countless potential heroes and villains have been cut from MCU films during the drafting process, for a multitude of reasons. We've already looked at 10 of those very characters.
Perhaps a movie simply had too many characters already, or Marvel boss Kevin Feige felt that the character in question deserved more than a fleeting cameo - whatever the reason, these beloved staples of Marvel lore are all still waiting to get their time in the MCU spotlight.
It's fair to say that a few of them may have sadly missed the boat, as their most obvious introductory point in the franchise has long since passed, but others reportedly remain a major consideration for Feige and co., such that we'll likely see them appear some time within Phase 4 (or even beyond).
There are no guarantees, of course, so keep your fingers crossed that these deleted characters might finally be introduced to a wider audience in the near-future...
