10 MORE Great Horror Movies You'll Only Watch Once
Great horror flicks you regret watching.

Everybody's got their comfort flicks that they love to watch on a loop, with classics like The Matrix and The Prestige better the second time around since there's too much to process on a first viewing. And if a movie has a huge twist, you'll be compelled to give it another ago as you can now grasp the full context of the story.
However, this isn't always the case when it comes to horror. Sometimes, you'll have little desire to check out a slasher, zombie flick, or sci-fi thriller again, even if you thoroughly enjoyed it. This seems odd since horror shouldn't be particularly frightening on repeated viewings because you know what's going to happen. But depending on what kind of feature it is, certain moviegoers may have their fill after a single watch.
If the film in question has a staggering amount of violence, you mightn't want to put yourself through that skin-crawling imagery again. Even if the gore isn't outlandish, the freaky subject matter could be enough to leave you rattled.
Although we've previously explored 10 Great Horror Movies You'll Only Watch Once, here are ten more horrors you won't be rewatching for one reason or another.
10. The Untamed

It goes without saying that any film involving sexual violence and sexual frustration isn't going to be an easy watch, but The Untamed takes things to an entirely new level.
This Mexican sci-fi horror follows Alejandra, a young mother who finds herself growing resentful towards her sexually repressed husband. When a couple introduces Alejandra to a tentacled alien that will satisfy her carnal desires, her whole life turns upside-down.
Now, nobody is going to blame you if you don't want to watch a woman having a kinky relationship with an extra-terrestrial octopus, but The Untamed's promotions and trailers were so vague, few were aware how messed up it was when they decided to give it a shot. And once the WTF premise became clear, many viewers felt obligated to see it through to the end since they were already invested in the surreal story.
Due to superb filmmaking, writing, and performances, The Untamed never feels as exploitative as it should. That said, once you've bared witness to an unhappy woman bumping uglies with a space squid, you don't need to see it again.
