As far as movies with cult followings go, there aren't many as popular as The Crow, and it's easy to see why. The macabre story following Brandon Lee's Eric Draven on his posthumous quest for revenge is not only iconic, but almost stands as a lasting tribute to Lee, who was tragically killed during its production.

In something of an unusual narrative direction, the opening shots of The Crow depict the crime scene in which Draven and his fiancée were killed. At no point in this film was its protagonist ever alive, but that certainly didn't prove an obstacle.
