10 More Huge WTF Movie Post-Credit Moments
2. The URL - The Batman
When Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson took on the responsibility of Batman, the story delved more into the detective side of the character than ever before on the big screen. As such, the Dark Knight and James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) followed the Ridder's (Paul Dano) trail from one clue to the next, including a URL link.
This gave the crime fighters certain issues, but after a lesson in Spanish from Colin Farrell's Oz Cobb, they were directed to www.rataalada.com for more clues from the Riddler. After the credits rolled, there was a cryptic goodbye from the Riddler, before the URL flashed up for just a brief second.
Naturally, this sent Batman fans to the link and they were greeted by a series of riddles that, between then and now, have gone through some changes. Depending on when you visited the website, you could have earned a look at a Thomas Wayne mayoral campaign video and a tease for the villain, Hush, something of a cipher that teased a return for the film's major villain, and even the now infamous deleted scene that featured Barry Keoghan as the Joker.
If you visit the site now, though, you will be met with a polite notice that the domain has been seized by the Gotham City Police Department. As far as post-credit stings go, it's certainly more interactive and creative than most.
