10 More Incredible Movie Scenes Shot In A Single Take

9. Car Chase - The Raid 2

John Wick: Chapter 4
Sony

At 20 seconds long, this clip is the shortest entry on this list, by far. Nevertheless, this moment from The Raid 2 deserves recognition.

While the hero, Rama, takes part in a brawl inside a speeding car, the camera pans to the vehicle behind him. In one continuous shot, the camera moves into the car through the front left side before moving out to the back right side.

In case you wondering, this stunt was achieved with zero CGI. Like the best kind of magic trick, this feat leaves viewers thinking, "How the heck did they do that?"

Well, the answer is impressive (and surprisingly funny). The camera operator, who sits on an unseen vehicle, takes the camera from the first car and passes it to a crew-member in the second one.

But how does the crew-member in the second car remain hidden? Simple. He's disguised as a car seat!

He then passes the camera through the back window to another unseen cameraman, who's sitting horizontally on a rig attached to the car.

The set-up may sound unnecessarily complex, but that's what it takes to create movie magic.
