5. Dewey Faced No Consequences - School Of Rock

Whiplash JK Simmons
Paramount Pictures

Jack Black is an absolute gem of a Hollywood star at this point in his career. Though he had appeared in a smattering of different projects, and was known mainly as one half of Tenacious D, School of Rock was when a lot of the world fell in love with him.

Dewey Finn is something of a lovable loser down on his luck, but still with the dream of making it big in the music biz. So he takes the next natural step. He pretends to be a supply teacher and essentially hijacks an entire class to make a new band.

Of course the kids love it, they actually make a damn good band, and everything works out in the end. The kids stick with Dewey and form an after-school club, even after all of his lies are uncovered. But how exactly would you feel about this if you were a parent?

This man has fraudulently infiltrated your children's school, and though he was well-intentioned, what if he wasn't? Why was a complete stranger able to join a school as a teacher with absolutely no background checks, and why when he was caught did he face absolutely no consequences?

This standard nerd combines the looks of Shaggy with the brains of Scooby, has an unhealthy obsession with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and is a firm believer that Alter Bridge are the greatest band in the world.
